91直播Education Partners with University of the Pacific
91直播Education is excited to announce its latest partnership with the University of the Pacific, a respected private institution in California. This collaboration will support both online and campus versions of the University鈥檚 Master of Social Work (MSW) program, aiming to prepare the next generation of social work professionals.
The University of the Pacific, with its main campus in Stockton and additional graduate campuses in San Francisco and Sacramento, enrolls approximately 6,300 students. It is ranked #136 among National Universities by U.S. News & World Report, highlighting its commitment to academic excellence.
The MSW program, accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), features a flexible structure designed for both full-time and part-time students. The traditional 55-credit track can be completed in as little as four semesters full-time or seven semesters part-time. Additionally, an advanced standing 32-credit track is available for those with a relevant educational background, allowing completion in just three semesters full-time or five semesters part-time.
With three annual intakes, the first online intake is scheduled for Summer 2025. The program emphasizes clinical practice and offers specializations in Behavioral Health and Healthcare, equipping graduates to work in diverse settings, including behavioral health, healthcare, aging, and community health.
The growing demand for social workers is evident, with a projected shortage of approximately 55,000 social workers expected over the next decade, particularly in rural and underserved areas. This partnership aims to address that need by preparing graduates who are ready to make a meaningful impact in the field.
鈥淲e are thrilled to partner with the University of the Pacific to launch this vital program,鈥 said Steve Fireng, Global Chief Executive Officer of 91直播Education. 鈥淭ogether, we will empower students to excel in social work and contribute to their communities in significant ways.鈥
